Against Breast Cancer

I became involved with the vital work of ABC about 25 years ago when, in my capacity as a journalist, I wrote about the fundraising work of Witney ABC's amazing Jeanne Chattoe. I lost my mum to breast cancer 43 years ago and both Jeanne and charity struck a chord. I joined the Witney fundraising team and have helped organise the annual Witney in the Pink Day since then. I was honoured to become a patron of ABC in 2007 and commend their ongoing search for a vaccine against this terrible disease.
